Consultation has concluded

The Municipality of Central Elgin is pleased to inform you of the upcoming Eastwood Park reconstruction. A large portion of the funding has been made available from the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program with the Government of Canada investing $286,000 and the Province of Ontario investing $238,310.

The construction includes a new playground structure, two pickle ball courts, a multi-use court, a custom hexagon shade structure, green gym equipment, a raised hill feature, new trees, and new concrete sidewalk interconnecting Lawton Street, Peter Street, and Paul Street/Lois Avenue to the main features described.

Ro-Buck Contracting Ltd will be onsite tentatively between August 30th and October 15th to complete the hard surface works. This includes sidewalk, asphalt courts surface, and shade structure construction. Additional works will be completed by various contractors after Ro-Buck has completed the hard surface works, as directed by Central Elgin staff.
