The Southdale Line Reconstruction project is a joint project between the Municipality of Central Elgin and the City of St. Thomas. The project is located to the west of Sunset Drive and extends about 500m west along the boundary area between St. Thomas and the Municipality. The road updates include access to the future Kemsley Farm Subdivision and future connection to the Shaw Valley Subdivision.
The project scope includes installation of new watermain and water service connections, new sanitary sewer main and sanitary sewer service connections, new storm sewer service connections, a widened urban road cross section with sidewalks on the south side and designated bike lanes, and updated train track crossing.
Bre-Ex Limited will be the Contractor for this project.
