Will the Shaw valley connection go in allowing construction vehicles currently using Shaw valley drive and glenwood to use southdale line instead?

    Bfox Asked 5 months ago

Yes, within the next few months construction vehicles will begin using Southdale Line again. As of May 7, 2020 Bre-Ex is currently building the new road structure from Sunset Drive to the west as they complete all of the water/storm/sanitary services to the property line. There will be some congestion between Lyndale Ave and Sunset Drive as they move their way through this area with two crews working near each other (one doing watermain, one doing road excavation). Once they have completed the work between Lyndale Ave and Sunset Drive, loaded dump trucks will no longer be required to travel on Lyndale Ave. This will help with keeping mud and debris off of Lyndale Ave. We have ordered Mobil Sweeping to street sweep Lyndale Ave twice a week to keep ahead of the dust. This will return to once a week when trucks can travel through to Sunset Drive via Southdale Line again.
