Construction on Southdale Line has been completed. Reconstruction will begin again in the spring of 2021 to place the top lift of asphalt on the road.
Bre-Ex Ltd. is currently preparing the road granulars for asphalt pavement. During this time, there will be intermittent access to your driveway while the workers make the appropriate adjustments. Del-Ko Paving will be onsite Monday, July 20th to place HL-8 base asphalt on the full extend of the project area. They will then proceed with placing driveway asphalt on Tuesday and Wednesday. When the asphalt is placed on the driveways, please avoid rotating the tires of your vehicle while in a stationary position.
Notice to residents on Southdale Line, a concrete curb will be placed on Monday, July 6th.
Bre- Ex Ltd. has now completed the installation of the Sanitary Sewer and the new water main along Southdale Line. There are a few issues they need to correct prior to completing the granular road base. Work on site has stopped temporarily as Bre-Ex arranges for the manpower and equipment necessary to correct the issues. It is anticipated that curb, gutter and asphalt will be placed in the next 3 weeks. A letter will be hand delivered to the residents on Southdale Line regarding the construction of the concrete curb and sidewalk and how that will affect access to driveways.
Bre-Ex will be onsite and actively working on the project on March 2nd. During the first week, the PSTR tracks will be removed. Please use Lyndale Avenue to access Southdale Line on the west side of the tracks.
We've sent out letters of construction to residents directly impacted by this project on Southdale Line (ground zero). A secondary notice, has been sent out to residents on Lyndale Avenue and further west on Southdale Line to inform them of the nearby project.
