The Hot Mix Asphalt program for 2020 has concluded.
The Central Elgin Annual Hot Mix Paving Program is designed to maintain a desired Pavement Condition Index and level of service for the Municipality. It is driven by a pavement condition evaluation completed on a 2 year cycle. The Program includes routine maintenance, preservation activities, and rehabilitation activities. The 2020 Hot Mix Paving includes full depth removal and replacement of road asphalt within the Norman Subdivision. This includes Karen Street, North and South Valerie Street, Linda Street, Marlene Street, Aileen Street, and Gertrude Street.
Coco Paving Inc, and their subcontractor Ro-Buck Contracting will be onsite to replace marked portions of curb and to remove and replace the road base and surface asphalt.

Fine grading of the roads will be completed on Friday, October 9th. Asphalt placement will commence the week of October 12th on Monday or Tuesday. Asphalt placement will take approximately one week to complete.
