Major concern with intersection Belmont Road and Ron McNeil line. I live in Belmont and in past two years car has drove through stop sign

Last night almost catastrophic accident at this intersection, car going from east to west on Ron McNeil went through stop sign. I am sure it’s because the sun was in their eyes. This person looks scared after almost colliding. You will see where I slam my brakes on Belmont rd going north. Please review this intersection for safety.

Cut grass on hill on Front Street going up to Mariners Bluff

I know the municipality is doing construction in this area but please could someone cut the grass on the Front Street hill on the sides of the roadway and bottom of the hill as the long grass is attracting wildlife such as skunks. A lot of people use this hill to go up and down and it has become very unsafe. Thank you for your assistance. Colleen

    Hwy 3 and wellington.

Hi, With the construction along hwy 3 and the new interchange/widing of the road. I would like to propose the following; 1. Explore noise barriers along wellington through the residential areas, the houses are below grade and the noise travels into the neighbourhoods. 2. Also would like to see a roundabout at mcbain and wellington. 3. A pedestrian tunnel under wellington linking Turvey park to the park and path on the ferndale side. As lots of kids try and cross wellington and a tunnel would open up the area to more people! Just some suggestions due to increasing traffic!

    Avoid use of engine brakes

On Belmont rd where it drops to 60km/h from 80, trucks often are using their engine brakes night and day through that area. Can signs be posted on either side of the road to mitigate this? It is very loud for the residents in the Mapleton area.
